Simone Tang

Simone Tang has been working productively for many years under the radar, so few people realize that she has composed soundtracks for several feature films - domestic as well as foreign - and even won the Chinese equivalent of an Oscar, 'The Golden Goblet'. Just over a year ago Simone was subject to a personal grief, which led her to write the songs featured in her new solo project. She now performs under her own name, and the music draws subtle parallels to artists such as BANKS, NAO and Prince.
